Graylyn Estate and Conference Center began as the country home of Mr. Bowman Gray, former President and CEO of Reynolds Tobacco, and his wife Nathalie in 1932. After a generous donation of Graylyn to Wake Forest University by the Gray Family, our estate opened in 1984 as an enchanting historic boutique hotel and conference center, hosting luxury stays, inspiring special occasions, and productive meetings. Our award-winning estate delights each visitor with breathtaking 55-acre grounds, the rare opportunity to stay in our castle-esque Norman Revival Manor House, and legendary hospitality.
