Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) is a premier, comprehensive, regional HBCU (Historically Black College/University) that is a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina. With a curriculum that focuses on the entire student, WSSU produces graduates who are creative, flexible problem solvers known for leadership and service. WSSU currently offers 46 bachelor's degrees, 10 master's degree and Ph.D. programs to its 5,220 students.
