Mission Statement Centenary United Methodist Church exists to make passionate disciples of Jesus Christ through transformational worship, caring fellowship, spiritual nurture, faithful service, and compassionate outreach to all people. Core Values We value worship as the first priority of our faith community. We desire worship to be Spirit-led and Christ-centered in all of our liturgical celebrations. We value evangelism. We understand evangelism as faith sharing by individuals and as a community so everyone may have an opportunity to experience the love and grace of God through Jesus Christ. We value every member ministry as God,Äôs initiative to call spirit gifted persons to service in the work of God,Äôs kingdom through the missions and ministries of the church. We value Christian education that is biblically based and clearly related to life. Therefore, we provide teaching and learning opportunities for children, youth and adults. We value missions by sharing the love of God by word and deed throughout our community and world. Our outreach is marked by missions of justice, reconciliation, physical and spiritual renewal, and peace making. We value music and the arts as the artistic expressions of the realities of our faith. Through music and the arts the depth and wholeness of our faith is presented in creative, diverse, ways which enrich our spiritual journey. We offer generously our God-given resources through stewardship principles that include our time, spiritual gifts, financial and environmental resources.
